Taking place on June 8th in Berlin, the competition was sponsored by the Committee of French Foreign Trade Advisers (CCEF) and organized by the French Trade Commission, Business France.

This 7th edition represents a great opportunity for the V.I.E program’s visibility and for the awarded candidates selected for their outstanding achievements in a new company and culture.

This year, first prize went to Jean Guillou who carried out business development in Germany as part of his contract with Theault.

An International Vonlunteering rewarding Program

Dedicated to young European graduates from across Europe, the V.I.E program gives the opportunity to spend up to two years working for French companies in their subsidiaries around the world. Aged between 18 and 28, the volunteers are able to develop their professional expertise and business ideas by evolving in a multicultural environment.

Becoming more and more popular, the program is a great stepping stone to recruitment. According to a Business France’s survey*, 94% of volunteers sign a permanent contract following their V.I.E assignment.

“The V.I.E helps Europrop International to think out of the box”

President of EPI, Christophe Bruneau is a member of the CCEF association and always has been committed to hire young graduate seeking a high-quality mission abroad.

In Europrop International, the V.I.E program is a win-win experience. The volunteer is evolving in an enriching organisation where he can gain valuable experience thanks to our partner’s expertise. For us, a V.I.E volunteer is also an asset for the company. Coming up with new ideas, positive attitude and natural aptitude for technology, he definitely helps the company to think out of the box.”

Currently, Europrop International counts 6 volunteers sent by Safran Aircraft Engines, the French partner of the program. Working in different fields such as Sales, Program, Marketing or Engineering, the young professionals benefit from an enriching international environment and expertise gathered in EPI.

In fact, consisting of a European collaboration programme between four European engine manufacturers ITP Aero, MTU Aero Engines, Rolls Royce and Safran Aircraft Engines, the volunteers are involved in one of Europe’s largest defence project. Immersed in the aeronautics’ world, they can participate in the development and manufacturing of the TP400-D6 engine, powering the Airbus A400M aircraft.

Pauline Denis, VIE as Junior Commercial since 6 months, shares her vision of her experience in EPI:

“As VIE in EPI Europrop International, you have the opportunity to develop your experience and sense of responsibilities by being a key actor of ambitious projects. Integrated from Day 1 in multicultural teams, you are given the chance to express your ideas, quickly gain insights of the complexity of the program and work in autonomy.”

As supporters of the young future business leaders, Europrop International is proud to support the V.I.E program and intercultural collaboration.
